What Happened
The DMEA team is working hard to bring our internal services back online, and restoring payment services has been a top priority. As of December 10, DMEA can accept payments electronically through our online bill pay platform, SmartHub.
DMEA's Current Recommendation
At this time, we strongly encourage all of our members to pay their bills through our secure account management tool, SmartHub. A testament to SmartHub's security is that despite the best efforts of this malicious group to destroy our internal systems, there was no breach of sensitive data on SmartHub or within our network environment.
How to Set Up Your SmartHub Account
We believe SmartHub is the easiest and most secure way to pay your DMEA electric bill. If you have never used SmartHub, follow the steps below to register your account. You can then skip the trip and enjoy the security of SmartHub's online bill pay options. You can also set your account to autopay, and you'll never miss a payment due date again.
In-Person & Drop Box Payments
DMEA's Montrose lobby is open to walk-in traffic as of December 10, 2021. However, occupancy is limited to 2 members at a time. To avoid long wait times, we encourage you to pay your bill online through SmartHub or at one of our dropbox locations. Other secure and quick payment options include calling 877-687-3632 and selecting the automatic option to pay your DMEA bill (option #3) and the payment kiosks located in the entryway of either DMEA office.
