DMEA, Guzman Energy, and Citra (the project developer) are working to develop the Garnet Mesa Solar project, an 80-megawatt solar generation project near Delta. The project previously failed to receive permitting from the Delta County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) in March 2022. Since then, we’ve been working to improve our application and address the questions and concerns raised by community members and the Delta County BOCC. Please attend the following informative open house to learn more about what this project means for our local community.
